Annual Christmas Celebration - Period of Giving for Winnipeg Harvest
Join the Chamber and its members as we celebrate the holiday season with our annual period of giving. Through this period we will be collecting donations both food and cash to contribute to Harvest. In addition our Charity Raffle with some great prizes will support Harvest and our chamber charities. Coffee with the chamber on Fridays will allow you to deliver your contributions to the office and enjoy fresh baked goods and fellowship. The morning of December 15 we are coordinating volunteers to pack hampers at Harvest, you can register

We will be making our prize draw of our raffle in support of Winnipeg Harvest. Grand Prize is a 40 Flat TV donated by Advance. The will be other Mystery Prizes which will be announced at the luncheon. Raffle tickets are $2.00 each or book of 20 for $20.00. Chamber Member Excels at Pintys Grand Slam Curling Bonspiel.
Chamber member Raunora Westcott of National Leasing and Team Michelle Englot placed second in the Pinty's Grand Slam event the weekend of November 11-13 in Cranbrook, BC. A close final against Team Sweeting was a great experience for the team and improved their world ranking to 14. Follow Raunora and her team on Twitter @team_englot
Curling fan or want to curl for the first time?The Assiniboia Chamber has a mixed team funspiel in the works for February 2017. All are welcome experience or no experience. This will be a great Sunday afternoon including a clinic led by members of Team Englot. More details and date to follow.

Coffee with the Chamber
On November 18, the Chamber held its first Coffee with the Chamber this year. We had members stop by to say HELLO and drop off can goods, cash donations, and purchase raffle tickets, all in support of Winnipeg Harvest. November 25 and December 2, 2016 we will continue hosting this event
to receive your Harvest donations
at the Chamber Office. Join us between 10 am and 2 pm for coffee, fresh baking and fellowship. So mark your calendars and plan on attending.

November Breakfast Event featuring Wade Miller from Winnipeg Blue Bombers
Our members were treated to a wonderful and an exciting look into how the Winnipeg Blue Bombers football team has changed since Wade Miller took over as the President & CEO of the club. We would like to thank Wade for his ideas on how to grow the football team. The Chamber and its members are looking forward to Football Fridays next season. We wish the team a better year in 2017.
