J oin Nassan's Place for an inspirational and amazing evening as we celebrate six years of community service and honor some extraordinary people, organizations, and partners who are helping us enrich the lives of children and families affected by Autism.
The Gala will be filled with great food, music, surprises and Autism awareness. This event is our premier annual fundraiser, so we hope that you will consider being a sponsor, place an ad in our journal, or better yet, purchase a ticket.

Special guest performance by Illtown Sluggaz artist and finalist on the Fox hit show "The Four" Leah Jenea. 

A portion of the proceeds from Leah's single "Perfectly Imperfect", which is available on all streaming platforms, will be donated to Nassan's Place.

Sensory Friendly Photography Workshop
7/31/18
For the third straight year, Nassan's Place, the City of East Orange Recreation & Cultural Affairs and Panasonic partnered to provide a "Sensory Friendly Photography Workshop" for children affected by Autism.
This year participants enjoyed a great day of capturing great moments of nature and animals at Turtle Back Zoo in West Orange, NJ. Some of our participant's photos will be entered into a photography contest with Panasonic.
4 Week "Saturday Inclusion Basketball Camp"
7/21 - 8/11/18
Children affected by Autism and their siblings participated in Nassan's Place 4 week "Annual Saturday Inclusion Basketball Camp" at Mount Carmel Guild Academy.
The children enjoyed sessions that included exercise, drills and other basketball techniques that helped to enhance their fine motor, sensory and social skills. Parents and caregivers were able to enjoy three hours of me time while the children were at the camp.
Annual Backpack & School Supplies Giveaway in conjunction with the Orange Elks Lodge #135
8/23/18
Nassan's Place in conjunction with the Orange Elks Lodge #135 hosted our 3rd Annual "Backpack & School Supplies Giveaway" Children affected by Autism and their siblings each received a backpack and school supplies. The event also included resources from Amerigroup and Social Behavior Learning Solutions, face-painting, pizza and surprises.
Nassan’s Place can’t stop the diagnosis, but we can HELP the families affected by it!
