Registration for Annual Convention is now open! Registration is free, so sign up today. If you plan to stay overnight in Fredericksburg, you may reserve a room at one of the hotels closest to the Fredericksburg Convention Center.

It is important that you familiarize yourself with key convention materials such as the draft agenda,  Rules of Order, Resolutions, Amendments, Budget (to be posted in late September), and Nominations. Doing so will enable you to make well-informed decisions, contribute meaningfully to discussions, and vote with confidence at Annual Convention. By preparing in advance, you'll be better equipped to engage in the legislative process, advocate for the interests of your church, and help shape the future of our Diocese.

Below is a list of deadlines and key dates leading up to Annual Convention. Make sure to check the Convention webpage regularly, as materials and information are added as they become available. 

Deadlines and Key Dates

September 30: Related Organizations Nomination Deadline.

October 5-17: Hotel Reservation Deadlines. Deadlines vary by hotel.

October 21: Submission deadline for Resolutions, Amendments to the Constitution and Canons, and Annual Reports.

October 25: Ministry Fair and Exhibitor Deadline.

October 25: Registration Closes.

October 26: Open Hearings for Budget, Amendments to the Constitution & Canons, and Resolutions on Zoom.

November 1: Elected Positions Nomination Deadline. This year, Convention will elect new members of the Standing Committee. Read this message and invitation from the Standing Committee.

November 7-9: 230^th Annual Convention, Fredericksburg Convention Center.
