As Annual Convention approaches, we share some important reminders for all clergy and lay delegates.

New This Year: Pastoral Address to be Delivered at Thursday's Evensong Service

Bishop Stevenson will deliver his pastoral address on Thursday, November 7, at the Evensong service. This year, Evensong will be at St. George's, Fredericksburg. A shuttle bus and two ADA-friendly trolleys will be available to transport attendees from the Fredericksburg Convention Center to St. George's. Shuttle and trolley tickets will be given to delegates at check in starting at 1:30p.

Hotel Deadlines are Next Week

The deadlines for booking hotel accommodations through the diocesan hotel blocks are October 10-11. Delegates who have not yet reserved a room are encouraged to do so promptly to secure availability.

Open Hearings October 26

Open Hearings for the Budget, Amendments to the Constitution & Canons, and Resolutions will be held on Zoom on October 26. It is important that you familiarize yourself with submitted Resolutions, Amendments, and Budget ahead of the hearings. For those submitting resolutions, please familiarize yourself with this year's guidelines for submitting resolutions, as there are changes from previous years.

Deadlines and Key Dates

October 10-11: Hotel Reservation Deadlines. Deadlines vary by hotel.

October 21: Submission deadline for Resolutions, Amendments to the Constitution and Canons, and Annual Reports.

October 25: Ministry Fair and Exhibitor Deadline.

October 25: Registration Closes.

October 26: Open Hearings for Budget, Amendments to the Constitution & Canons, and Resolutions on Zoom.

November 1: Elected Positions Nomination Deadline. This year, Convention will elect new members of the Standing Committee. Read this message and invitation from the Standing Committee.

November 7-9: 230th Annual Convention
