Open Hearings are an opportunity to ask questions about the proposed Budget, Resolutions, and Amendments to the Constitution and Canons. The input of every delegate is highly valued, and we encourage everyone to participate.

Information Packet

The Information Packet includes all critical information for delegates of Convention and everything that delegates will vote on.

Please take some time to familiarize yourself with the contents to be fully prepared for the Open Hearings and Annual Convention. Immediately prior to Convention, delegates will be sent a supplemental packet with any remaining information you will need.

Registration Closes Tomorrow

If you have not done so already, register today! Registration closes on Friday, October 24. Not sure if you registered? Contact Bill Martin, Assistant to the Secretary, to confirm your registration status.

Translation

As in previous years, Spanish translation will be available. This year, we are partnering with a new translation company, and in addition to Spanish, we are pleased to offer Korean translation as well.

Translation will be accessed through your own device (preferably a mobile phone) and earbuds. You may download the Interprefy app using the QR Code ahead of time or wait until you arrive at the Convention Center to do so.

A limited number of earbuds will be available for those who forget theirs. You can pick them up at the Tech Table or ask a staff member with a red name badge or one of our volunteers wearing red shirts for assistance.

Deadlines and Key Dates

• October 24: Ministry Fair and Exhibitor Deadline.
• October 24: Registration Closes.
• October 25: Open Hearings for Budget, Amendments to the Constitution & Canons, and Resolutions on Zoom.
• October 31: Elected Positions Nomination Deadline. Convention will elect General Convention deputies, Province III deputies, and new members of the Standing Committee.
• November 6-8: 231^st Annual Convention, Fredericksburg Convention Center.
