The 1st Annual Convention of the Diocese of the Susquehanna is quickly approaching! All information about Annual Convention can be found on the Convention webpage.

Registration is now open for all clergy and voting lay delegates to Convention. Registration for the online Zoom Convention on October 3 is free of charge. All alternates and non-voting members of our diocese will be able to view Convention proceedings via livestream. A link to view the livestream will be shared in September.

Amendments to the Constitution and Canons Due July 31

Amendments to the Constitution and Canons of the Diocese are reviewed, amended and presented to Convention by the Constitution and Canons Committee. Learn more about this process. Proposed amendments to the Constitution and Canons are due July 31, 2026. 

Submit Resolutions by August 2

A Resolution is a proposed action or decision to be considered at diocesan Convention concerning the mission and ministry of our church. Resolution submissions are due August 2, 2026. 

Nominations Deadline Extended to August 3

This year, delegates to Convention will elect two laypeople and two clergy to serve on the Standing Committee and two laypeople and two clergy to serve on Diocesan Council. Serving in these roles is a meaningful way to contribute to the life and mission of our diocese. You are encouraged to prayerfully consider whether you — or someone you know — might be called to serve in this way. The deadline to submit nominations has been extended to August 3.
