ANNUAL DINNER UPDATE
It is with deep disappointment, but cautious optimism that our team has decided to cancel portions of our annual dinner. Given the current climate, selecting a future date for everyone to gather has become challenging with a high risk of needing to move again. There are still a lot of unknowns with this virus and we are doing our best to keep people safe and comply with state regulations.

We appreciate that you are a community minded business and wanted to be a part of this awesome event. We are thankful for the great effort of planning that went into the event for staff, volunteers, McCormick Event Center, and the City of Rock Falls.

Thank you for all you do for our community. We will be emailing our community initiatives and other community updates soon.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW:
  • The Shoulder to the Wheel Awards will be presented at a later date, either by video live stream or in another fashion.

  • The Dessert Auction is canceled, but we may consider a silent auction with a special recognition and delivery to your office.

  • The Ribbon Cutting will be scheduled for a date mutually chosen by the McCormick Event Center and the Rock Falls Chamber. This will be a big event after the corona virus issues are resolved and will be a celebration of the bright future for Rock Falls.

  • The Dinner portion of the event is suspended with options. We won't gather together, but you can still enjoy a delicious meal individually, with your families, or with your staff. There are two options listed below for you to review. Let us know what you prefer.
OPTION #1
Continued Community Support - With Benefits

  • Sponsor the work of the Chamber by giving your reservation fees to the Chamber.
  • In exchange, you will receive a Candlelight gift card for a Reagan's Fried Chicken Meal - FOR EACH RESERVATION YOU MADE. The meal includes 8 pieces of chicken, 3 sides, and 3 bread sticks.
  • You will also receive a facebook shout out thanking your business for supporting the work of the chamber as a sponsor.

This option helps everyone:
  • It allows the Chamber to have the revenue it needs to continue to support our community.
  • It supports a local small business and their employees, by allowing us to pay for meals we would have purchased. This is an especially difficult time for local restaurants and this will help! (Gift cards will be good for an extended period of time. Pickup orders can be taken now, or later - - or even used to provide staff lunches through this challenging time.)
  • You will receive a dinner per person that is delicious and large enough to share!

NOTE: There is no additional charge. You simply allow us to keep the funds you have paid for your reservations and receive one gift card per reservation.
OPTION #2
Refund Process

  • Please call, or email our office with your request for a full, or partial refund.
  • Refund checks will be issued within 7-10 business days.
Things to consider

The Rock Falls Chamber works everyday to serve our community.

  • During the COVID19 Pandemic we are partnering with Rock River Christian Center food pantry to provide lunch kits to children in need over Spring Break and beyond.
  • We also are partnering with our City and other local agencies to provide support and resources alongside vital community updates.
  • We host educational training opportunities for free for small and local businesses.
  • We host free large outreach events for area residents that also promote local shopping and community spirit: Uptown Trick-or-Treat, Summer Splash, Hometown Holidays, and Community Garage Sales.
  • We provide critical one on one support and free advertising to members.
  • There are countless other activities and services provided to our community throughout the year. Your funds from the annual dinner and dessert auction have ensured that they are free and available to everyone.
