Revised CBFNC Mission & Ministry Funding Plan Approved
at Annual Gathering
During the Business Session of the recent CBFNC Annual Gathering, participants voted unanimously to approve a new Funding Plan, which essentially merged the  Mission Resource Plan  with the CBFNC Operating Budget. For more information, including a line-item budget and Frequently Asked Questions, please visit the CBFNC website .

Paul Baxley, new executive coordinator for CBF Global, who spoke during the Annual Gathering, endorsed the new plan, "It was wonderful to be in North Carolina late last week and be with the CBF North Carolina family as you celebrated your twenty-fifth anniversary with a wonderful Annual Gathering. Over the last quarter century, a very strong partnership in ministry has developed between CBF North Carolina and the larger CBF community. I am committed to seeing this partnership grow even stronger in the years ahead.

"Today I am particularly grateful to the Coordinating Council of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of North Carolina for proposing an amended budget that, while replacing the Mission Resource Plan with a more unified ministry and mission budget, still allows CBF congregations in North Carolina the opportunity of offering financial support to CBF Global through CBF North Carolina. CBF North Carolina’s continued willingness to provide this service to congregations is not only a sign of a true commitment to the larger CBF community, it is also evidence of a deep respect for the autonomy of local congregations and a desire to serve congregations. "

If you have additional questions about how to direct your church's contributions, please contact the CBFNC office.
