Outlined below are important dates, times, locations, and documents pertaining to the ORA AGM. We have also included information about our free session on Regatta Central, our Annual Awards, and our pre-AGM Business Session.

Annual General Meeting: Documents
In preparation for the AGM, the meeting package documents are linked below. If you are sending another representative from your club to be your voting delegate, we kindly ask that you send this information to them, so they are prepared for the meeting. Voting delegates will be provided with hard copies of the package at the meeting.
Annual General Meeting: Voting Delegates & Eligibility
As defined by ORA By-Law 8.03, member club must designate their voting delegate prior to the AGM. To do so, please complete and return the
Member Declaration & Registration Form
as outlined on the form to the ORA office by 4:00 PM ET Thursday, November 29th, 2018. If not submitted electronically by Thursday, November 29th, 2018 at 4:00 PM ET, the form may be brought to the AGM check-in table between 3:50 PM ET and 5:45 PM ET on Saturday, December 1st, 2018.
Member Clubs must be in good standing with the ORA by Saturday, December 1st, 2018 at 6:00 PM ET to be eligible to vote. To be considered in good standing and eligible to vote at the AGM, member clubs will:
Hotel Reimbursement
Member Clubs located outside of the 60km radius are eligible to apply for reimbursement of one hotel room for Friday, November 30th, 2018 or Saturday, December 1st, 2018 for their voting delegate. The Member Club must meet the AGM's voting eligibility requirements and the voting delegate must attend the AGM to be eligible for reimbursement. Reimbursement request forms will be available at the AGM check-in desk.
Free Pre-AGM Sessions
Regatta Central Update with RCA (2:50 PM - 3:50 PM ET, International A)
Jennifer Fitzpatrick of RCA has been the project lead on the RegattaCentral project over the past 10 months. Jennifer will provide a summary of where we have come from with RegattaCentral version 2.0, where we are today, and what plans lie ahead for RegattaCentral and how it will integrate in our regatta organizing in 2019. We encourage as many clubs and regatta organizers as possible to attend, as this is your one opportunity to have a RegattaCentral session hosted in Ontario as RCA conference is in Alberta in January 2019.
ROWONTARIO Annual Awards Presentation (4:00 PM - 4:45 PM ET, International A)
Join us in celebrating our outstanding community members at our Annual Awards Presentation. A short reception with light refreshments will follow the presentation.
ROWONTARIO Pre-AGM Business Session (5:00 PM - 6:00 PM ET, International A)
In preparation of the Annual General Meeting, ROWONTARIO will be hosting a discussion to review some identified key topics including, but not limited to seat fees, regatta sanctioning, lightweight rowing, registration fees, National Rowing Championships, Canada Summer Games 2021, and coach education.
Conference Reminder
Our annual conference, offered in partnership with Ontario Sailing, will run from 8:00 AM ET to 3:45 PM ET on Saturday, December 1st, 2018. This is a great professional development opportunity for coaches and club administrators, as well as an ideal time to network with others. Please share the conference information with your club administration and coaches:
