Summer Schedule & Reminders

Just a quick reminder that TOMORROW, Friday, July 7th, we will close at 4 PM to set up for our annual gigantic BOOK SALE this weekend. The library will also be closed for 'library business' on Saturday- sorry!
We still need volunteers to help with the setup at 5 pm to get our books on the first floor. If you can help, please

The Library will be closed for library business this weekend but we are here for our Annual Book Sale. Please come and check things out- we have THOUSANDS of books, music CDs, and DVDs for sale!
Last but not least: We still have a few pumpkin plants for sale ($10 comes w/birth certificate & growing directions!). So come and Adopt-a-Pumpkin!
Next week is the last week to submit your idea for our
Logo Contest
! Get creative and submit an idea. Find some more info below.
Next week, I will send some photos of our new books & DVDs and the winners of our 50/50 raffle at Flatbread. They got $150!!

THIS weekend: Sat & Sun from 9 to 3 pm both days; inside & outside under the tents, rain or shine!
There will be thousands of books from every category: adult, children, YA, fiction, nonfiction, antique & rare books, in both hardcover and paperback.
Plus, hundreds of music CDs & DVDs.
Altogether, the library we have way over 7,000 items for sale. The majority are private donations, approx. 90%!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We could still use a few volunteers for setup at 5 PM on Friday (we have enough for 4:30 PM!), setup on Sat. at 7 AM, break down on Sunday 4-5 PM, and a few sales people.

LOGO CONTEST
The Library needs a new logo!
Get out your inner Benjamin Champney or Andy Warhol and help us design a new logo that shows how hip, cool, modern, and current we are!
And please share with students, graphic designers, and creative friends!!

Last days to adopt and grow a huge championship pumpkin!
For a $10 donation you will receive your pumpkin plant with a blue ribbon pedigree in a 4-5-inch pot, a birth certificate, growing directions, and directions for entry to the Fryeburg Fair.
Pumpkin growing is the ideal sport for the competitive couch potato who doesn’t want to sweat !
