Announcement of the Annual Meeting
South Britain Congregational Church’s annual meeting is scheduled for June 5th @ 11:00am immediately following worship service.

We plan on meeting in person.
 
Due to the increase in Covid infection rate, we will not have a potluck lunch, however we will have fellowship hour.
Proposed bylaws changes for the annual meeting,
 
It continues to be in the best interest of the Church to have our Annual Meeting in June for the following reasons:
  • To allow each committee the necessary time to prepare their budgets
  •  Finance will have a more accurate picture of the year end numbers
  • We could potentially have our new interim to introduce to the congregation
 
Current bylaw
  1. The Annual Meeting shall be held in May to review the annual reports of officers, boards, and committees;
 
Proposed Bylaw change:
  1. The Annual Meeting shall be held in May or June, on a date to be determined by Council, to review the annual reports of officers, boards, and committees;
