Read Conmigo Educator Grants - Now Open *

The Kemper Foundation’s Spring 2026 Read Conmigo Educator Grant application period is now open!

These $3,000 grants support classroom resources and/or professional development that advance dual-language (Spanish-English) education for bilingual students. Eligible educators in dual-language (Spanish-English) programs at public and charter elementary schools in Broward and Miami-Dade counties can apply. Grant applications are due by Sunday, November 2, at 11:59 p.m. local time.

Virtual Workshop, Helping Your Child Thrive with Dyslexia: Tools for Parents *

Join The Lucy Project for a virtual parent training on Saturday, November 15 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. designed to empower you with the knowledge and tools to support your child's reading journey.

Dyslexia is more common than many people realize and with the right support, children with dyslexia can thrive. This training will help you better understand what dyslexia is, how to advocate for your child, and practical actions you can take at home and in partnership with your child's school. The training will be facilitated in English.

FREE Youth Mental Health First Aid Training *

If you interact with youth and care to see them live safe and healthy lives, Hope for Miami has a training for you! Hope for Miami’s Project Bridge offers Youth Mental Health First Aid to any adult who interacts with youth (or parents of adolescents). This course can increase mental health awareness through education on behavioral health and addictions, and help you recognize the potential early warning signs. Life Time Kids Run Miami Program Ready to Kick Off

Encourage those you serve to have their children sign up for Kids Run Miami, a free program for all Miami-Dade County elementary and middle school students, challenging them to complete 26.2 miles over time and finish with a 1-mile celebration run on January 25, 2026, during Miami Marathon Weekend. The program builds fitness, goal-setting, and community spirit—plus, participating schools can apply for a $400 Life Time Foundation grant to support their running programs. Community Engagement Manager

The Community Engagement Manager is responsible for performing a variety of strategic community initiatives and community-focused duties to benefit children and families and elevate the contribution and awareness of The Children’s Trust. This role manages partnerships, collaborative community projects, and direct engagement with anchor institutions, community-based organizations, parent and youth groups, funders, and other partners, providing linkage to The Children’s Trust and evaluating and responding to community needs concerning children.

The Community Engagement Manager participates in and supports in organizational solicitation management and grant-making; including but not limited to managing workflow processes and meeting team deadlines. This role also oversees programmatic work, including but not limited to, multi-party program planning and contract execution, facilitating development of and timely reporting of reports and deliverables for funders and anchor institutions, corporate sponsorships and programs, and future collaborations, as assigned.  

Communications Administrative Coordinator

The Communications Administrative Coordinator serves as the primary administrative and operational support to the Communications team, ensuring smooth coordination of budget management, procurement processes, sponsorships, and event logistics for the department. This position is critical in maintaining accurate financial records, managing internal invoicing systems, managing vendors agreements, tracking sponsorship payments, and outreach grants, and overseeing the purchasing of goods and services needed for department initiatives. The role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in support of the department’s objectives. Work performed by the Communications Administrative Coordinator includes but is not limited to researching and obtaining bids for services or purchased goods, monitoring agreements and their terms of services, scopes of work and quality of final product, goods or service to ensure high level output. The incumbent has latitude to make informed decisions and recommendations regarding vendor and/or materials selection; and prepares reports for the department and executive management.

Data Analyst *

As a Data Analyst at The Children's Trust, the individual will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to help our organization make informed business decisions. They will work closely with various departments to understand their data needs, provide actionable insights, and support strategic planning. The position maintains and implements routine solutions under the guidance of senior TDS management. Bachelor’s degree preferred; one (1) year of experience in information management, business intelligence, business analysis, data analytics, or a related field where information is utilized for decision-making and assessment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
