Ancient worship. Affirming Faith. Genuine love.
From the Rector
Dear friends,

We've only been apart a little over a week, and I already miss you! And I miss our rugged, old gem of a building!

In the safety of my home, I am celebrating Mass on your behalf each day. Receiving communion has become a sad time for me as I'm reminded that I can't give you the Bread of Life and the Cup of Salvation in a time of intense global crisis. Please participate online as you can, and know either way that I'm praying for you!

Please call one another! Please shoot a text to your friend from our parish you haven't heard from in a few weeks. Take a stab at FaceTime or Zoom or some other videoconferencing system so that you can see each others faces! Join us for an All Parish Check-in online tomorrow, and for Virtual Coffee Hour on Sunday. Stay connected with one another.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you would like to talk. Click here so that we can get something on the calendar.

The Feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Tomorrow, Wednesday, March 25 at 12:00pm please join us on Facebook Live for a Sung Mass celebrating the Feast of the Annunciation to the Blessed Virgin Mary. We will livestream a service that will include a priest celebrating Mass, a cantor, a pianist, and a preacher, all joining from the safety of their own home using video conferencing technology.

The Annunciation (from Latin annuntiatio), also referred to as the Annunciation to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Annunciation of Our Lady, or the Annunciation of the Lord, is the celebration of the announcement by the Archangel Gabriel to the Blessed Virgin Mary that she would conceive and become the mother of Jesus, the Messiah and Son of God. Gabriel told Mary to name her son Jesus, meaning "YHWH is salvation.”

According to Luke 1:26, the Annunciation occurred "in the sixth month" of Elizabeth's pregnancy with John the Baptist. Christians observe this event on March 25, nine full months before Christmas,
the celebration of the birth of Jesus.

Sunday Morning Virtual Coffee Hour
We invite you to join in our virtual coffee hour via Zoom immediately following this Sunday's worship service. This will be a time set aside to check in with one another and share as we would on any normal Sunday. Grab a cup of coffee and hop on your computer or phone to join in the conversation. Click here and someone will be there to welcome you into this virtual gathering.
Blessings to all of our St. Mary's family,

First, let me start by saying that I very much miss seeing, hugging, laughing and especially worshiping with all of you. I pray daily for a speedy end to this pandemic and that you are all safe and healthy. I look forward to the time when we can gather together in this most beautiful space to sing and hear the Word of God and share in the Sacraments together.

Since we are separated by space only, I am offering the following:

If you so need or want, I will light a candle for you here in our beautiful Nave. I will say a prayer or you can text me a prayer to say on your behalf. I would be happy to take a picture and send it to you if you wish. I thought this is one way that you can stay connected to our Parish.

So the offer stands.....just let me know. You can send me an email by clicking here . I love you all very much.

Yours In Christ,
Raja 🙏🏼
