As expected, mosquitos have come out again following our summer storms, and they are out in full force!
Mosquitos are nuisance insects to us due to an allergic reaction that occurs when they bite.

Not all mosquitos bite, but the ones that do will bite any living being with blood, including other mosquitos!
They have about a 2 week to 6 month life span, and are a common food source for most insect-eating animals.

They can consume up to 3 times their own body weight in blood and transmit diseases such as Malaria or Zika.
Mosquitos will tend to swarm around standing water or humid areas as that is where they prefer to lay their eggs. Canals and ponds are common areas for these swarms.

If you are seeing an abundance of mosquitos, we do offer a mosquito service that can help cut down on any activity you are seeing. Pricing will depend on lawn or shrub bed sizes and the treatable area.

Also, this is a reminder that we will be applying our preventative grub treatments for lawn services between the months of June and July.
Grub lifecycle
Grubs are at the egg stage of their life cycle around this time of year, which makes this the best time for preventative treatment.
If you have not yet signed up for our preventative grub treatment, now is the time to do so!
We offer 10% off of services for veterans and first responders as a way of saying thank you for your service!
