Third Consecutive Month of the Highest Sales Numbers Since 2007
ROSEVILLE - August brought the third month consequtive month of the highest new home sales since 2007. Michael Strech, President and CEO of the North State BIA anticipates a steady growth for home sales this year. "The strong 2019 summer sales reflect the significant demand for highly efficient homes."
Strech continued, "Historically low interest rates, coupled with a wide variety of new homes communities and pent up demand, have created a healthy market - which is good for high paying jobs, continued growth and our community as a whole."
A total of 522 new homes were sold during the month of August. The sales were reported in 155 subdivisions in the six-county Greater Sacramento region from Marysville and Yuba City in the north to Galt in the south. In addition, 14,996 people visited active new-home communities last month.
