ROSEVILLE - Like June, July saw the best sales numbers in twelve years The North State Building Industry Association reported. Michael Strech, President and CEO of the North State BIA is pleased to see strong sales numbers. "For the second month in a row our members have seen an average sales of more than 100 homes per week, we have not experienced this volume since 2007."
"It feels like we are moving in a positive direction being able to compare our current sales to pre-recession numbers." Strech continued, "However, the fight to close the housing gap in this area is still far from over. I know that the members of the North State BIA are working hard to find solutions and bring more homes to the people of the Sacramento region."
A total of 402 new homes were sold during the month of July. The sales were reported in 152 subdivisions in the six-county Greater Sacramento region from Marysville and Yuba City in the north to Galt in the south. In addition, 13,348 people visited active new-home communities last month.
