Corning Mayor Robert Snow Endorses Coolidge for Assembly!
Corning Mayor Robert Snow today became the latest North State Mayor to endorse former Chico Mayor Andrew Coolidge in the 2026 campaign for Assembly District 3.
Snow was elected Mayor of Corning in 2020 and reelected in 2022 and 2024. Coolidge has previously received support from Mayors across the district, including:
Orland Mayor Matt Romano
Oroville Mayor Dave Pittman
Paradise Mayor Steve Crowder
Gridley Mayor Mike Farr
Biggs Mayor Bo Sheppard
Willows Mayor Evan Hutson
Snow’s endorsement demonstrates the growing momentum the Coolidge campaign is seeing outside of his base of Butte County. With a deep and increasing endorsement list, and an impressive $200K raised in the first half of the year, Coolidge is quickly emerging as the leading Republican candidate for Assembly District 3.
Coolidge is the former Mayor of Chico (four years), a former councilmember (four years), and served the community in a wide range of leadership roles prior to taking a seat on the Chico City Council. He has also run a successful business in the district for the last 32 years and is a lifelong resident of the district.
Coolidge is running for the Assembly District 3 seat currently held by Assemblyman James Gallagher, who is not running for reelection due to term limits. The primary election will be held on June 2nd, 2026.
