Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----
New York City just elected a pro-Hamas socialist/communist mayor who has pledged to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu when he travels to the United Nations, located in New York City. Hours after the election of Mr. Mamdami a Jewish synagogue in Brooklyn was defaced with Nazi swastika symbols. Pestilence (2 Chronicles 7:13) in the form of moral pestilence has been placed on the City by the Lord. (2 Chronicles 7:13). The answer is His gift of the gospel and His gift of repentance: 2 Chronicles 7:14.
The Godly roots planted by our forefathers in New York have been largely pulled up. The key response has to be personal repentance, then leading to a sacred assembly locally or nationally, a time collectively on a given day when believers in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, follow His Solution in 2 Chronicles 7:13,14, humbly repenting, praying to Him, seeking His face, repenting, weeping that we have failed to honor His Way and His Covenant so connected to the birth of this United States of America.
It was in New York City that President Washington was inaugurated in 1789. In his short speech after his oath of office in which he humbly added "SO HELP ME GOD!" President Washington said, in part, " No people can be bound to acknowledge and adore the Invisible Hand which conducts the affairs of men more than those of the United States. Every step by which they have advanced to the character of an independent nation seems to have been distinguished by some token of providential agency... there is no truth more thoroughly established than that there exists in the economy and course of nature an indissoluble union between virtue and happiness; between duty and advantage; between the genuine maxims of an honest and magnanimous policy and the solid rewards of public prosperity and felicity; since we ought to be no less persuaded that the propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself has ordained; and since the preservation of the sacred fire of liberty and the destiny of the republican model of government are justly considered, perhaps, as deeply, as finally, staked on the experiment entrusted to the hands of the American people. "
The "sacred fire of liberty" is flickering now in New York City. The mindset of Islam wishes to extinguish it. The answer is the Truth, the gospel, repentance and evangelism, starting with the house of God, 1 Peter 4:17.
My understanding is that there are many newcomers to New York City, speaking over one hundred twenty different languages just in the borough of Queens. This then is a mission field!
Pastors/ priests/ worship leaders/ intercessors: Now is the time to witness boldly to the new Mayor in New York City and to the many newcomers. Paul's instruction to Timothy fits today's moment: " Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all long-suffering and teaching.... But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry." (2 Timothy 4: 2,5).
Let's pray: " Heavenly Father, in Jesus/ Yeshua's Name above all names, give us your Wisdom to begin to restore the Godly roots You planted through our forefathers in our first Capitol, New York City. Please go ahead of us and open doors to your gospel that can't be closed, and close other doors needing to be closed that no one can open. Use these election results to awaken the house of God, Your shepherds in Your ecclesia, Your flock, to take up Your cross to advance Your Kingdom. Open minds and hearts to Your gift of Your Blood and Your Gift of repentance. Help us restore the sacred fire of liberty, all to Your Glory. In Jesus' Name, Amen and Amen."
