AVC Giving Tuesday Campaign Launches November 1st
Help Us Reach Our $25K Goal
| |
The AVC Foundation is thrilled to launch our seventh Giving Tuesday campaign, a month-long fundraising initiative from November 1-30 aimed at providing crucial support to our students. This year, donors can direct their donations toward the Basic Needs Fund, which will help ensure that our students have access to essential support like food, housing, transportation services, clothing, and other resources they need to thrive in their college journey. Last year's campaign reached impressive heights through the incredible support of our donors, raising an astounding $20,682.82. Your donations are matched by our corporate sponsor AES.

With your help and unwavering support, we can reach new heights this year with a new goal of $25,000. All proceeds will benefit the AVC Basic Needs Center. There are multiple ways you can give to support this cause:

A Note from Our Executive Director | |
The 23-24 academic year proved to be very successful for the Foundation. We were thrilled to award 298 scholarships worth more than $280,000 to 157 AVC students, the most the Foundation has ever provided. The Foundation continues to thrive thanks to the generous support of our community partners and individual donors who support us during our fundraising efforts, such as our annual Wine Walk, which this year, broke another record and raised over $30,000. Because of the wide support we've received, I am proud to say that our total endowment has since grown to over $12 million. The Foundation is proud to support AVC, its students and faculty.

Judy Vaccaro-Fry’s Scholarship Endowment for Single Parents
Judy understands how hard it can be to raise a child while simultaneously trying to improve her life. After raising her children, she later took the time to pursue her education so that she could make a better life for herself and her kids and be a positive role model. Judy wanted to raise good, productive, educated, and contributing members of society. Being educated contributed to the foundation she provided for her children. This is why she established this endowment to help other single parents pursue their educational goals.
