Children & Youth Black History Month Highlights

Every Monday During the Month of February

The month of February is Black History Month. During this month, we celebrate the achievements and history of African-Americans as part of Black History Month.

Every Monday during the month of February, we will provide Black History highlights that can be shared with children of all ages.

Prayer & Fasting

Wednesday, February 3rd

Until 12:00 p.m.

⁶ Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?

⁷ Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter--when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?

⁸Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your

rear guard. ⁹ Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I.

~ Isaiah 58: 6-9

We will continue to fast every Wednesday until noon until we return to the church.

Grocery Distribution

Thursday, February 4th

3:00 p.m.

Antioch's Talking is Teaching Program is partnering with The George Kaiser Foundation to provide grocery bags to families on a first come, first served basis.

No paperwork required--just come to the church and volunteers will put the groceries in your car.
