Farm Storytime at Alvrine Farm

Tuesday, May 9th @ 9:00am


Join us at Alvirne Farm for songs & stories. Then enjoy a tour of the working farm. See cows, chickens, tractors, and more. 

Alvirne High School is located next to Rodgers Memorial Library. Park on the CTE side of the Alvirne building near the red barn and meet near the lilac bushes.

Cookbook Club

Love to cook and bake? Join us as we sample and discuss recipes from popular cookbooks and food themes! Prepare a recipe from this month's topic, then engage with others about your recipe adventures. And of course, lots of food tastings included! 


May's focus will be appetizers! Prepare and share a recipe from "Martha Stewart's Appetizers" by Martha Stewart.

Collaborative Art: Sunshine Canvases

Paint a sun that will be part of our "All Together Now" collage for the summer. 


We're preparing the library for summer! Our theme is "All Together Now," so we are making a suns to remind us to show how much we care for the people in our community. Canvases will hang in the library for the summer. If you write your name and phone number on the back, we can give it back to you when we take down our display.


This program is for ages 6 through adult

Certified life coach Diane MacKinnon leads a book club highlighting books that help us all gain more access to our own wisdom. We’ll discuss a range of books, from self-help to memoir to creative nonfiction, that give us insight into our own minds and help us take action and live out our values. 



May's book is "The Book of Forgiving by Desmond Tutu.

Join Chef Oonagh Williams for a monthly program on Lithuanian Cooking. Chef Oonagh will demonstrate Lithuanian dishes and have samples for tasting. You may have seen Chef Oonagh on WMUR Manchester's Cook's Corner segments.  Please register so that Chef Oonagh will know how much food to prepare.
