Houzz has released their recent 2019 U. S. Houzz Kitchen Trends Study , and in the section focused on "What's Popular for Kitchen Counters, Backsplashes and Walls," we found that countertops were the #1 feature to upgrade as part of a homeowners kitchen renovation. Studying over 1,300 homeowners who recently completed or are planning to complete a reno, 93% of those homeowners included countertops as part of their project.

The most popular material? Quartz came in first place at 48%, followed by natural stone (which includes granite, quartzite, marble and soapstone combined) at 43%. The top color choice for these countertops is white. White is leading the way with 1 in every 3 homeowners choosing that as their color, followed by multi-color, then gray.

If you are thinking of replacing your countertops with quartz, natural stone, or a solid surface like Corian, keep in mind that FCI has a variety of countertop options for you to choose from. And not only can we supply them, but we can install these in your home for you as well!

Custom appliance panels are a great way to help create a seamless design in your space. The options and design styles can be as custom as you'd like. You've seen many of our refrigeration panels in photos that we have shared, but here are some other options:
We can create symmetry in an island by making it appear that there are three stack drawers on opposite ends, when in fact, one of those three stacks is a dishwasher.
Here is another example of a custom panel that houses an ice maker. It appears to incorporate a top drawer and a door, but is actually just one panel.
Custom panels can be used for other features too. This trash pull out door design makes it appear as if their are two drawers to mimic the other side of the sink.
