Thank you Anza families! Technology plays an increasingly important role in education, and because of your generous donations to PTA and EEA, we have been able to purchase THREE Chromebook carts for Anza students! Two carts have already been purchased and are in use in the classrooms, and another one will be purchased in January. Thanks again for all of your help in providing our students the tools for success!

~Sarah Steinberg, PTA President & Lisa Pahl , EEA President

Do you have old toys lying around the house? Consider giving these no-longer used items to an upcoming donation drive benefiting LA County's Toy Loan Program. Acting in the same way as a public library, the Toy Loan Program allows underprivileged children to borrow toys once a week, helping them develop a sense of responsibility. Donation bins will be at the school starting Dec. 18th and will remain until Jan 18. Gently used toys, books and games are accepted.

Toy Loan Drive

It's almost time for the
Toy Loan Drive!

Get ready to clean out your closets!

Monday, Dec. 17 - Friday, Jan. 18

We will be collecting gently used toys, books and games for the LA County Toy Loan Program.

The program operates like a library where underprivileged children can check out toys, books and games. Children who return items in the same condition earn points that they can use to "purchase" toys to keep.

Our community will have the opportunity to collect items to donate to this wonderful program.
Bins will be placed in front of the main gate during school hours.

News You Can Use
AFTER SCHOOL / ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS (NON-ANZA)

Dear Anza Parents,

Anza is striving to go paperless! With this effort we will not be distributing after school program flyers on a regular basis. If you would be interested in a class, please click below to find out what programs are available or check in the office to see if there might be a hard copy for you. Please note, these partners have no affiliations to Anza Elementary and our school does not profit from these programs. This link will remain on the Communicator for your convenience and will typically be found at the bottom of the email.

Please contact anzacommunicationsoffice@gmail.com if you have any questions.
Thanks!
