Avoid Rush Fees!
In these times of financial difficulty, the ApHC wants to do everything we can to alleviate extra expense for our members! With show season upon us, it is important that your Appaloosa be registered, transferred, advanced, or entered in the Performance Permit program prior to showing. We don't want you to have to pay a RUSH fee in order to have your registration work completed in time for your show!
While turn-around time varies based on a number of variables, the ApHC suggests an allowance of six weeks for registration work completion. Please contact us at least ten days prior to your show date to be certain your work will not require a RUSH payment to be completed in time. Hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised to find your processed work in your mailbox earlier than predicted! But, as the saying goes, better safe than sorry. We look forward to receiving your registration work!

If you or someone you know would be interested in donating an Appaloosa, we'd love to hear from you. We have an "exhibit pasture" on the museum premises giving summertime visitors the opportunity to get acquainted with our breed. Tickets are sold throughout the year and the drawing is held (usually) in October. In exchange for your donation of a raffle/exhibit horse you can receive a tax deduction along with the gratitude of all who appreciate and support the Appaloosa Museum.

ApHC REGISTRATION
It's not just a piece of
pretty paper.
INTEGRITY... PRESERVATION... HERITAGE...
In addition to preserving your horse's past and protecting its future, registering your Appaloosa enables you, or a future owner, to participate in the wide variety of activities available through local, regional, and national venues. Whether your Appaloosa is solid or colored, registration increases its value, and is an important part of responsible Appaloosa ownership. Join a tradition of excellence and the growing number of proud Appaloosas owners by submitting your registration application today.
ApHC members can register fillies and colts for a registration fee of only $40 as long as the application is postmarked between their foal date and 6th month foal date. After their 6th month foal date to their 12th month foal date the fee increases to $75. After their 12th month foal date to their 24th month foal date the fee increases to $125. After their 2nd year foaling date the cost of registration is $160. For example, if your foal was born March 5th, you have until September 5th of the year foaled to have the registration application postmarked and to register the foal for the $40 member fee.
The registration fee for pedigreed geldings is only $75 regardless of age.
Registration of hardship geldings and spayed mares with “unknown” pedigree and displaying Appaloosa characteristics to be eligible for Regular (#) classification is only $160 regardless of age.
