The Apollo 13 Simulation is a fun, entertaining, and exciting workshop that can help your team discover how to work together to achieve the ultimate goal – getting the astronauts home.

It can be delivered with a strong ITSM/ITIL edge or it can be delivered from just a team-building aspect leaving some of the deeper ITSM concepts for a later day.

The Apollo 13 simulation is an intense one (1) day training in which ITSM processes are experienced through the use of an interactive game. In this training, real-life situations taken from the Apollo 13 mission are simulated. You will work in teams, playing the roles of the Mission Operations Ground Crew located in Houston.
Your mission: bring the crippled spacecraft and crew safely home.

This simulation translates ITSM theory into practice, creates buy-in and captures concrete improvement actions, helping to realize a customer focused culture and improve service quality.
Participants get to see and feel the consequences of their decisions and actions on the quality, cost, customer satisfaction, and overall business results within the simulated environment of the Apollo 13 Mission Operations Control Center. By giving attendees remarkable insight into the true importance of effective processes, the Apollo 13 workshop will help improve the capabilities of your IT organization.
