The Oscar nominees have been announced and many of the films were preceded by books, of course. Check out our list and read these great books before and after watching the movies. These are some of the books/movies: The Sting Man (American Hustle), 12 Years a Slave, The Wolf of Wall Street, Long Walk to Freedom, Captain's Duty (Captain Phillips), Philomena, August: Osage County, the Disney phenomenon of the moment, Frozen, has been followed by several books, and The Art of The Wind Rises, from the new Miyazaki animated film, won't be out until April but you can pre-order it now. Though it was nominated for musical score, you should take this opportunity to ready The Book Thief as well if you haven't already.
