This position assumes responsibility for development and maintenance of environmental permits necessary to demonstrate compliance with allowable air, land or water pollution levels and maintain working knowledge of Federal, State/Provincial and local environmental and occupational health legislation and regulations. You will assess environmental risks and assist in development of regulatory documentation of results, perform hazardous waste site inspections, OSHA PSM compliance audits, environmental compliance and due diligence audits, and recommend appropriate action to management. This position has excellent growth potential.

Bimeda; Chicago, Illinois
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the Environmental Health and Safety compliance of Bimeda's manufacturing facilities globally including the strategic planning, direction, and facilitation of EHS policies and practices to meet all regulatory requirements. S/he will be responsible for formulating and overseeing all training, metrics and communications associated with the design, development and implementation of the Bimeda safety-centric culture. This role is accountable for ensuring that the goals of a safe and healthy work environment are actively pursued throughout the Company in an effective and conscientious manner. You will be expected to transform, direct and coordinate EHS activities for Bimeda globally. These activities include EHS program development and implementation; direct EHS Team meetings; EHS audit compliance oversight; monitoring & management of EHS Team-related issues, communication with business units, senior managers & executive management as appropriate. This position requires a degree in Chemical Engineering/ Chemistry or a BA in Industrial Health or equivalent along with advanced training in handling of dangerous goods is preferred. 5-10 years' experience as a Safety Manager in a pharmaceutical or similar environment with a proven track record of delivering legislative compliance and best practice policies and programmes. Direct Experience with EHS regulatory agencies is preferred. CSP / CRSP / CHSC / MIOSH designation preferred.

The Regional EH&S Manager - Precast Western Region position will be responsible for the occupational health, safety and loss control management of our plant facilities based in the Western U.S. in alignment with the Oldcastle Precast National Platform for Environmental, Health and Safety management. This position will work closely with all levels of management and hourly employees to ensure safety and health work standards and methodologies are communicated and targeted goals are achieved through individual as well as team based objectives and strategies. The West Regional Safety Manager will also work with the Regional Market Area Management Team to ensure implementation and continuous improvement of safety and health processes and systems consistent with Oldcastle policies and performance standards as well as compliance with applicable regulations. This person will also serve as a catalyst and expert resource to promote and develop an innovative and proactive safety culture within each organization. Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years in the manufacturing and construction materials industry are required. Expert knowledge of OSHA CFR 1910 and CFR 1926 regulations is required.

The North American Regional Environmental Manager for Northeast will be responsible for partnering with regional operations and site EHS teams in our Fulfillment Network to execute company environmental policies and ensure compliance with all applicable Local, State and Federal regulations. By focusing on risk assessments and compliance evaluations, this individual will lead continuous improvement initiatives to minimize environmental aspects and impacts and communicate and implement best practices. The Regional Environmental Manager must be an effective communicator and send clear, concise and consistent messages, both verbally and in writing. This individual must instruct and train Operations Leaders in company environmental policies and assist the regional teams in incorporating our environmental standards at their site. The Regional Environmental Manager will be required to possess excellent program and environmental regulatory knowledge and demonstrate this expertise when working with teams throughout the NAFC network. The Regional Environmental Manager will be responsible to lead a team of EHS Managers in their region. This individual must create and execute environmental development plans for their EHS Managers and Associates on their team. They must communicate environmental expectations and give frequent and appropriate feedback to their EHS teams and ensure they are executing to the core competencies of an Amazon environmental professional. A completed Bachelor's Degree in chemistry, chemical or environmental engineering or related field of study is required along with 5+ years of experience serving as an environmental technical resource, program specialist, or program manager.
