September is here, which means that the fall season has begun here at Terhune Orchards. Visit us every day to pick your own apples, or stop into the farmstore to find fresh produce, homemade baked goods, and locally-sourced goodies.

We have an amazing crop of apples this year! Choose from five varieties in the orchard and four in the store -- with new types coming in all the time! Don't forget to include an apple in every lunch box as the kids go back to school!

Pick Your Own Apples, Grapes & Flowers!

Seven Days a Week, 9am-5pm

Pick your own apples seven days a week here at Terhune Orchards! Tuesday through Friday, pick Gala and Honeycrisp apples at our main farm, 330 Cold Soil Road. Flower and grape picking are available too! Grapes are as supplies last; check our website for daily updates.

This weekend, visit 13 Van Kirk Road for apple picking. Check back on our website later in the week or call 609-924-2310 for available varieties.

The dwarf trees are easy for all ages to reach. No ladders or long poles are needed. Apples at the Pick Your Own farm are by the bag. All guests 4 years and older must purchase bag at Check-in.

Read & Pick: Tractors

Next Tuesday, September 12 at 9:30am & 11am

Read & Pick is an innovative program that combines a hands-on farm activity with your young child followed by an education program with stories highlighting the fruit or farm area. Parents and young children (ages preschool to 8 years) are welcome to celebrate everything wonderful about tractors.

We will be reading two books about tractors and how they help farmers. Then everyone will participate in a tractor craft and take a tractor-drawn wagon ride. Owner Gary Mount’s favorite thing on the farm is his tractors. He will have all his tractors out and lined up for our young farmers to get a good look at the different kinds.

All programs have 9:30am and 11am sessions, each lasting about one hour. Online pre-purchase of tickets is required.

Live Music in the Winery Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Summer is coming to a close, which means we've reached our final Sunset Sips & Sounds of the season. Join us Friday through Sunday this weekend to sample our award-winning wines, enjoy a glass, or take home a bottle.

Live music Friday from 5-8pm and Saturday & Sunday from 1-4pm.

Join us in our historic apple orchard to enjoy fresh air, delicious wines, wine slushies, light bites, and more.
