Buy Maryland Cybersecurity (BMC) Tax Credit

Funding Amount: 50% of purchase price (up to $50,000 credit for the buyer)
Qualified Maryland Companies may claim a tax credit for 50% of the net purchase price of cybersecurity technologies and services purchased from a Qualified Maryland Cybersecurity Seller.

Purple Line Small
Business Grants

Funding Amount:
Up to $50,000
If your business is located within one-quarter mile of the Purple Line light rail alignment, you may be eligible for grants to offset construction impacts. This round is specifically for businesses that have been operational in that corridor and need capital to maintain or improve operations.

TEDCO’s Maryland Innovation Initiative Announces $647,000 Granted to Baltimore Innovation Initiative Awardees
This round of awardees will divide $647,000 amongst the 13 awardees. The BII Pilot Program falls under the Maryland Innovation Initiative (MII), fueling innovation and economic impact in the Baltimore region.
The BII was created to support an equitable innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem within higher education institutions in the Baltimore-Columbia-Towson Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA).

The intensive business development accelerator program provides participants with 310 hours of instruction and coaching; hands-on workshops; certified training through OST’s U.S. Department of Labor–recognized Apprenticeship program; tailored mentorship from OST and TEDCO experts; access to WinMoreBD.ai, OST Global Solutions’ (OST) proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) platform for smarter pipeline building; and an alumni network membership.
