Fun Fact
Did you know...
... that Adventskränze, or Advent Wreaths, are lit not just during Christmas itself, but all December long, beginning with the first Sunday in Advent? Many Germans craft their own wreaths, adorning them with four candles that they light in succession as the four weeks of Advent progress. Since many Germans don't get their Christmas trees until December 24th, the wreath serves as holiday decoration, bringing cozy light and fragrant, pine-scented cheer to the home all Advent long.
