Application Tip #106

No! German language is not required. The working language in the labs where you would be conducting your summer research internship is English .

Fun Fact

... that just a few days ago, a court in Frankfurt ruled that a hangover is an illness? This decision coincidentally coincided with Oktoberfest celebrations in nearby Munich. The case itself involves a company that manufactured a "hangover-fighting" product. The court ruled against the company, because it is illegal in Germany to advertise that foods or supplements cure human ailments or diseases, in this case a hangover.
