Fun Fact
Did you know...

...that April Fools, an April 1st tradition of playing good-natured jokes and pranks, is celebrated widely in Germany and the US? In fact, legend has it that April Fools has its origin in a meeting of lawmakers in Augsburg that was supposed to take place on April 1, 1530, to unify the state coinage . The meeting never took place and speculators who had tried to turn a quick profit lost their money and were ridiculed. This custom was later picked up by newspapers, magazines, and, now, digital media.
