Studying Abroad
Destination Germany
Germany is the most popular non-English speaking country for students! According to the numbers from 2016, the most recent year for which comparable data is available, Germany, which hosted almost 252,000 students from abroad, follows right after the US, Great Britain, and Australia. Students come for a variety of reasons, including a high quality education and future job opportunities. The fact that most German states do not have a tuition fee is certainly another contributing factor.

Fun Fact
Did you know...
... that the Circus Roncalli, a German circus founded in 1976, now hosts its performances without live animals? Instead, they use holographic projections with 360-degree visibility to showcase "traditional" circus performances, as well as unique performances that were not previously possible.
