Study Scholarship for Graduates of All Academic Disciplines

Highly qualified final year undergraduate students or eligible graduates may apply for the DAAD Study Scholarship for a full Master's degree program at a German university or for study at a German university as part of a postgraduate program completed in the home country.   Apply by November 4th.

Research Grants

L ooking to conduct a research project in Germany? DAAD Research Grants are awarded to highly qualified candidates who have completed a Master's degree or Diplom, or in exceptional cases a Bachelor's degree at the latest by the time they begin their grant-supported research. Apply for our Short-Term Research Grant , One-Year Research Grant , and Cotutelle Doctoral Program by November 4th .

This program provides scholarships to attend a broad range of three- to four-week summer courses at German universities, which focus mainly on German language and literary, cultural, political and economic aspects of modern and contemporary Germany. Apply by December 1st.

RISE Germany

RISE Germany is a 10-12 week summer internship program for undergraduates in the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, earth sciences, engineering, and computer science. Students receive the opportunity to work with researchers at universities and research institutions across Germany. The working language is English.   Apply by December 15th.

DAAD won the prize for best image video at the ZEIT-Karriere Award 2019. The video is part of the DAAD "Study in Germany - Land of Ideas" campaign.
