City of Framingham Opens Applications for Restaurant Outdoor Dinning
The City of Framingham is currently accepting applications for outdoor restaurant dining. In order to ease the process, the Mayor has waived the application fee and eliminated some of the extra steps in the process to make it more accessible. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the City Council voted to approve permanent restaurant outdoor dining regulations. These regulations aim to optimize the utility of each respective site to add additional seating. This allows staff and customers to have more physical space reducing the chances of contracting the COVID-19 virus.

To apply, the restaurant must have met the requirements listed in this checklist from the Framingham Inspectional Services. Applications must be submitted electronically via thumb drive, compact disc or Internet drive files, such as Dropbox, to the Licensing office. For more information click here.
