Level 5 Psychotherapeutic Counselling Diploma

CPCAB Level 5 Practitioner Qualification

This course will take you from being a counsellor able to work competently within the framework of an agency setting (Level 4), to an independent practitioner with competence to assess and work at depth with more complex presentations of emotional disturbance, mental health issues and trauma. It will also ensure that you operate effective risk assessment and work safely within the legal and ethical boundaries of private practice. Graduates of Level 5 are qualified to take on a senior counselling position in an organisational context where client assessment, referral and routine evaluation are part of the role.

We have created a robust psychotherapy training which covers the legal and practical aspects of working in private practice as well as introducing more complex counselling theory and inviting our participants to engage in in-depth personal development work.

At the end of the Level 5 Diploma in  you will confidently work with clients with complex presentations at significant emotional depth. We ensure that you are given a safe and ethical space in which to hone and broaden your skills and understanding and develop the required proficiency to work at psychological, somatic and cognitive levels.  .

This year all our students successfully completed their courses due to our swift response in creating an efficient online learning platform.
