About Pitch Elk Grove

Recognizing the need to promote local startups and spotlight the region as a burgeoning startup hub, the City of Elk Grove launched Pitch Elk Grove in 2022. Now in its fifth year, Pitch Elk Grove returns to provide innovative, investable startups with the opportunity to showcase their companies at an exciting in-person pitch event on September 3rd, in Elk Grove, CA.

Why Apply?

This premier competition offers a unique opportunity to showcase your startup in front of top investors, industry leaders, and media. Pitch Elk Grove allows startups to connect with fellow entrepreneurs, receive pre-event mentorship, and gain invaluable insights from a panel of experienced judges all while gaining recognition and competing for a chance to secure significant funding to catapult their business forward.
 

Ideal Candidates

Tech Focus: Be an emerging or scaling tech company in a tech vertical commercializing innovative products and platforms.


Prototype/MVP: Have a working prototype or Minimum Viable Product (MVP).


Revenue Generation: Be generating revenue or close to it.


Location: Be located in El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Sutter, Yolo, or Yuba County.

For-Profit: Be a for-profit venture


Event Attendance: Able to attend the in-person event in Elk Grove on September 3, 2026.


Pitch Deck: Submit a pitch deck as part of the application.


Website: Have a Website URL for your company.


Marketing Consent: Provide permission to the City of Elk Grove and StartupSac to promote your participation.
