Dear Staff and Faculty,

It is our honor to lead the IMSA Presidential Search Committee (PSC) which is charged with nominating for the Board of Trustees the individual who will serve as the next President replacing Dr. José M. Torres retiring at the end of the academic year. 

The PSC is committed to a transparent and inclusive process and we would like to extend an invitation to faculty and staff to apply for consideration to serve as representatives on the search committee. Applications are now open and the deadline to apply is September 23, 2020.

We have asked the IMSA Local Council 604 to review faculty applications, IAA to review alumni applicants and the Senior Leadership Team to review staff applications. Each group will nominate three finalists from their respective applicant pools and present them to us by September 30, 2020. Additionally, we have asked Cabinet to select their representative.

The Trustee members of the PSC will select one faculty representative, one staff representative, and one alumni representative based on an individual’s commitment to IMSA, their ability to be a strong contributor to the PSC, and their ability to fulfill the PSC member expectations in addition to the following criteria:
