About Francis C. Hammond LINK Club
  • LINK Club is a FREE program that serves 100 Hammond students afterschool until 6:00pm on every regular school day, September 6, 2022 to June 2, 2023.

  • Teachers provide academic tutoring during LINK Club to help improve students' school performance.

  • Students are engaged in a variety of fun enrichment activities that nurture their natural talents and help them to develop important skills. Activities include creative arts, STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), sports, cooking, theater and more!

  • Families are invited to participate in a variety of engagement activities designed to support student learning.

Registration Process
  • The deadline for submitting your child's application for participation in the 2022-2023 LINK Club at Francis C. Hammond is August 8.

  • If you have more than one child at Hammond that you would like to participate in LINK Club, please complete a separate application for each child.

  • Please Note: This program is open to all students to apply, however, students are selected for the LINK Club based on demonstrated academic and social-economic need. Application or prior participation in the LINK Club does not guarantee your child a spot in the 2022-2023 program.

Francis C. Hammond LINK Club
LINK Club is offered by Alexandria City Public Schools in partnership with the Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities and is funded by United States Department of Education—21st Century Community Learning Center grant. It is designed to provide high-quality afterschool services with an emphasis on academic support, enrichment, social-emotional support and family engagement for our students and their families. While all eligible students are encouraged to apply for LINK Club, a rubric is used to ensure the highest need students are served.
