SPD's 2022 award application window is now open! As we reach the close of January's National Mentorship Month, now is a perfect time to get started on your application so you are ready to apply by May 1. The Society supports the field of pediatric dermatology by offering competitive grants and awards each year.

UNDERREPRESENTED IN MEDICINE (URiM) MENTORSHIP AWARD
This award was founded to increase exposure of URiM dermatology residents to pediatric dermatology through mentorship and an in-person clinical experience. Rotation can be 1-4 weeks and should be discussed with the mentor in advance. Our hope is initiatives like this mentorship program will lead to better representation and participation by URiM physicians within our field.
The SPD also offers Mentorship Awards for residents, fellows, junior faculty, etc. as well as Medical Student Mentorship Awards and a Resident/Fellow Research Award!
