Apply for Women Physician Leadership Program: Deadline TOMORROW November 20th

The Women’s Wellness through Equity and Leadership project (WEL) is a collaborative effort between 10 national US medical associations. Program leaders are currently recruiting the next group of WEL Scholars and are seeking a diverse group of early- to mid-career women physicians who will engage in networking, mentorship, and training around wellbeing, equity, and leadership. WEL will foster the development of the next wave of women physician leaders to build healthier, more equitable work environments and experiences. Watch this video featuring six members of the inaugural WEL cohort to learn more.

The NMA is seeking a diverse group of applicants for our three (3) available spots, with one spot preferred for an early career physician. The WEL program encourages a broad definition of diversity, which includes diversity of geographic location (ex, physicians in rural locations), parenting or military status, and specialties or subspecialties in addition to the more traditional definitions of diversity, such as race, ethnicity, and ability. We encourage all diverse applicants to apply!
