City of Franklin Offering Small Business Emergency Relief GRANTS

The City is offering financial relief to small businesses directly affected by revenue loss resulting from COVID-19. The maximum grant amount is $7,500. Businesses must be physically located within the City of Franklin corporate limits. Applications are due by 4:00pm on Tuesday, May 26. Program details and application are available at  www.Franklin.in.gov . Don’t delay!

Support for your Employees

Do you have employees who are Johnson County residents and experiencing job or income loss as a result of the coronavirus pandemic? You can now refer them to the United Way of Johnson County’s new Economic Assistance Plan. The United Way can find help with housing, basic needs, and even resources to return to the workforce. Marion County residents can seek help at  https://uwci.org/get-help/.

This Thursday: DEADLINE to Apply for Primary Election Mail-in Ballot

Indiana is allowing ALL registered voters to participate in the June 2 primary election by mail-in ballot. But you must first apply for a mail-in ballot and the deadline is this Thursday. You can quickly complete your mail-in ballot request online via  www.IndianaVoters.in.gov.
For many races, one party’s primary winner is the likely November election winner. This is often the case for several races in Johnson and Marion counties. As a business leader, it is important you participate in primary elections! If you are not able to vote in person on June 2 – or you are not sure if you will be comfortable doing so – request your mail-in ballot TODAY.
