International Student Program
Apply for the F-1 Student Visa
Dear admitted student ,

International students at SRJC will need a valid visa to be allowed to study in the U.S. Once you receive the Form I-20, you may apply for the F-1 Student Visa at the U.S. Embassy in your home country. Using the SEVIS ID number from the upper left-hand corner of your Form I-20, pay the I-901 SEVIS Fee online and complete the Form DS-160. Then, prepare for the visa interview and practice, practice, practice!
Already have an F-1 visa?
If you are currently studying at another U.S. institution, request a transfer of your SEVIS record to Santa Rosa Junior College, School Code SFR214F00618000. Provide your admission letter to your DSO and complete the Transfer In Form . We will mail you an SRJC Form I-20 once your SEVIS record has been transferred. If you will be travelling overseas between programs, let us know and we will sign your Form I-20 for travel.

Thank you, and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Sincerely,
Becky Petrow
