The 2021 Virtual State of the City took place on March 3rd, as part of the regularly scheduled City Council meeting, which included a message from Mayor McNamara and a look at how Escondido has faced the challenges that 2020 brought all of us.  
 
In honor of Black History Month, a number of Escondido Black-owned businesses were featured in Innovate78 original blogs:7 Black-owned food and beverage businesses in North County

Our very own Escondido entrepreneur, Cassandra Shaeg of Sip Wine and Beer, was featured on KUSI and Fox 5 San Diego for her involvement in local network, Black San Diego.
