PARTNER NEWS AND PROGRAMS:

We're excited to be collaborating with several other mission aligned organizations here in Rhode Island. Be sure to catch all that they're up to at the bottom of this Newsletter.

What does a RI Main Street Look Like?
It Looks Like You!

More important than the streetscape and buildings on a Main Street are the many people it takes to make the place come alive. It's with this in mind that we're launching our RI Main Street Learning Cohort to equip and empower Main Street community members to improve their local districts.

Are you ready to take action on behalf of your commercial district? Between January – June, 2026 Main Street America will be leading monthly workshops here in Rhode Island discussing actual processes for implementing the Four Points and exploring different transformation strategies. This “learning cohort” is designed for groups of people from different communities around RI, with each session including suggested action items to translate talk into concrete steps forward.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: DECEMBER 1st

Questions? Interested in Learning More? Attend our Learning Cohort Info Session on Thursday, November 13th from 12-1pm over Zoom.

Individuals from 20 different cities and towns across Rhode Island showed up to learn from seasoned main street leaders and connect with others working to build more vibrant main streets.

Next lightings are on Sat. Nov. 15 and Wed. Dec. 31st. Here's the schedule.
