The 2023 GlobalMindED conference will be held in Denver, CO on June 8 and 9 with pre-conference workships on June 7 (9am-3pm) followed by registration, welcoming reception open to all conference attendees (5-7pm) and Inclusive Leader Awards Dinner, separate ticket required (7-9pm).
The conference program will consist of panel discussions, workshops, deeper dives, problem-solving labs, presentations, roundtables and idea cafés selected through recommendations as well as this open Call for Proposals. Conference Venue: Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel
CRITERIA FOR SELECTION
Sessions will be selected based on the following criteria:
- Diversity of people and perspectives
- Specifics of how to solve a complex issue in the area of access and equity
- Evidence-based solutions to our toughest pipeline problems
- Demonstration of unique, innovative and effective approaches
- Sharing potential pitfalls and hazards faced in the field
- Information is impartial to specific products and services
- Providing concrete and specific takeaways
- Involving the audience in creative and constructive engagement
- Student voice is encouraged; ideally submissions will include at least one student
