Greetings!

The County Executive's Office is seeking individuals to serve on the county's Administrative Charging Committee (ACC), which is being created in compliance with Maryland state law.

Membership
In accordance with state law, the ACC shall be composed of:
  • The Chair of the Police Accountability Board (PAB), or another member of the PAB designated by the Chair of the PAB.
  • Two civilian members selected by the county's PAB.
  • Two civilian members selected by the Chief Executive Officer of the county.

Duties
In accordance with state law, the duties of the ACC shall include:
  • Reviewing the findings of the law enforcement agency that conducted the investigation, and requesting additional information as needed.
  • Making a determination to charge or not charge the police officer subject to complaint.
