Support from a Family Resource Specialist (FRS) peer-support for families to be co-located in your practice at no cost
25 Part 4 MOC points for each physician actively engaged in the quality improvement (QI) Project ECHO Program
Ongoing technical assistance from a QI coach and experts in the field of early child development
The NJ SEEDlings: Supporting Equity in Early Development Program is an initiative of the New Jersey Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics (NJAAP), with funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration.
The purpose of NJ SEEDlings is to transform the way pediatric primary care is delivered for the prenatal-to-five-year-old population eligible for NJ FamilyCare or are uninsured, by enhancing the capacity of NJ’s early childhood workforce to deliver equitable, high quality early childhood development services that meet the needs of young children and their families.

for the NJ SEEDlings Program!
Selected practices will receive substantial financial support to participate in a two-year partnership with NJAAP and partners to:
Launch HealthySteps, an evidence-based, interdisciplinary pediatric primary care program that promotes the health, well-being and school readiness of babies and toddlers, with an emphasis on families living in low-income communities
Integrate a FRS peer-support for families in the practice setting
Engage in a six-month QI virtual learning collaborative
Receive tailored clinical QI coaching to facilitate the adoption of a comprehensive early childhood screening protocol for patients up to age five.
