WE NEED FAIR REPRESENTATION

Let the City Council Know

After two years of mismanagement by anti-landlord activists, the Pasadena Rental Housing Board will be reviewed at last by the City Council on Monday, May 19th at 6pm.

Two at-Large positions are up for consideration and we must let City Council members know we need to have real housing providers appointed. To operate more effectively, the rental board must have experienced housing providers as members.

You can attend in person at 6 PM at City Hall. You can also attend via zoom to speak online.

Meanwhile, please email City Council members to let them know they need to appoint housing providers like landlords, property managers or realtors. If you live in Pasadena, you can find your Council member's contact details here. Alternatively, you can click here to email the whole Council.

Please engage. We need you!

RENT BOARD BUDGET FY26

No More Hiding The Truth

We have spent months attending Rent Board meetings and witnessing their attempts to hide the multimillion dollar fiasco that is their ongoing budget failure. On Thursday, May 15th, the Rent Board tried to publish a 2025-26 budget that completely ignores the question of how they will pay for their spending.

Fortunately, the Board will at last have some accountability when it presents it's version of a budget to the Economic Development Committee on Tuesday May 20th. You can send a public comment to ask why the Board is presenting a budget when it won't explain what it's registry fee will be.

After two years, they can't even tell us how many rental units are in Pasadena.
