Happy Monday! Hello all. Today’s first official day at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds clinic has been going quite smooth, so we requested and received 100 more doses each day this week and 200 more doses each day next week. Note: For this week, use the waitlist as I can get about 30 each day in from the waitlist (this week only.). This means that we are vaccinating 500 per day this week and 600 per day next week. Maybe more will be added because we can handle this!

Vaccine appointments are on a first come first register basis. You MUST HAVE AN APPOINTMENT. We will continue to vaccinate 'those who care for the community' which includes physicians, dentist, specialty care clinics and the patient facing staff that falls within the Federally mandated phase 1a and are now including phase 1b which is everyone age 65 and over.

We are considering extra phases based on continued volunteer participation and your support. As always watch my emails for future vaccination dates as they are scheduled. Please feel free to share with others that also fall into the phase 1a and 1b category.

Want to volunteer to work with the SCMA Clinic as a volunteer? Please email [email protected] to connect with the volunteer coordinators who can help you with pre-clinic participation training modules and a walk through clinic training. Herlinda Heras and Melissa Rascoe are both looking forward to helping you connect with the clinic in a role that serves you best.

Have a question about scheduling for the clinic? Please email [email protected] to ask questions about anything related to appointment scheduling. Our new scheduling coordinators Nancy Manchester and John Cattalini are waiting to answer your questions. Just note, they can not get you on a special list. You just have to wait for the next email to release the next set of dates. Once we see how these work out, we will send out the next set of dates.

Want to donate clinic supplies or discuss a potential location for a future SCMA Vaccine clinic. Please contact our new super talented clinics logistics director, Brandon Caskey by email at [email protected]. Brandon is our big picture guy. Go ahead, challenge him. He is up for it!
